3rd International Outsourcing Summit opens October 11
(Manila, Philippines) – Over 140 organizations involved in the global IT-BPO industry will participate in discussions on emerging markets, new technologies, service development, and the future of IT-BPO and Global In-house Centers (GICs) during the two-day Third International Outsourcing Summit (IOS) taking place October 11 and 12 at the Sofitel Philippine Plaza.
Organized by the Business Processing Association of the Philippines (BPAP), the summit aims to discuss major issues affecting the industry, including opportunities such as growing acceptance of service outsourcing and the increasingly high value delivered by service providers.
The sessions are designed to address emerging outsourcing trends and the complex future of IT-BPO, the twin challenges of innovation and growth, the ever-pressing issue of labor supply, and other issues that will impact future development.
A series of vertical breakout sessions will drill down to topics including social marketing, niche specialization, emerging technologies, strategy and competitiveness, the lingering effects of the global economic crisis, and identifying funding sources for business expansion.
Over 400 delegates and 80 speakers and panelists from Australia, Bangladesh, Canada, China, Colombia, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Jordan, Malaysia, Mauritius, Nigeria, Norway, Philippines, Russia, Singapore, UK and the US will attend the two-day event. The include industry analysts, senior IT-BPO executives, and decision makers in support industries.
President Benigno Simeon Aquino will deliver the keynote address for the closing ceremony October 12.
