(Manila, Philippines, October 17, 2012)—The Business Processing Association of the Philippines (BPAP), the umbrella association for the IT-BPO and GIC (Global In-House Center) industry in the Philippines, announced the transfer of its office from Makati City to Bonifacio Global City (BGC), Taguig CIty.
BPAP’s new office is located at the 5th floor of C2 Building, Bonifacio High Street, 30th Street corner 7th Avenue. The association’s phone numbers, (+632) 817-2727 and (632) 817-8141, have been transferred to the BGC office.
“As the Philippines strengthens its status as a preferred destination for global outsourcing, BPAP will continue to fulfill its mission of providing support and assistance to our members, partner associations, foreign investors and global clients, government, and the 770,000-strong industry workforce of knowledge workers,” said Benedict Hernandez, BPAP president and CEO. BPAP recently announced forecast revenues of $13 billion and employment of 770,000 for 2012.
The associations works closely with its partner associations—Animation Council of the Philippines, Contact Center Association of the Philippines, Game Developers Association of the Philippines, Healthcare Information Management Outsourcing Association of the Philippines, and Philippine Software Industry Association—to achieve the industry’s Road Map goals of generating US$25-billion in annual revenues by 2016, and employing 1.3 million Filipinos.
