New branches in strategic locations to support company’s expansion program
(Manila, Philippines, April 15, 2010) – In line with its expansion program and the launching of the Carryboy Caravan Homes this year, Carryboy Philippines Inc. has opened a new showroom in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City, and is constructing another one in Alabang, Muntinlupa City.
“Our presence in these strategic areas will enable us to reach more customers and serve their needs better,” said Jun Ylagan III, president and chief executive of Carryboy Philippines Inc. The company’s flagship branches are located in D. Tuazon and Banawe, both in Quezon City.
Bonifacio Global City, popularly known as “The Fort,” and Alabang are emerging as leading central business districts and premier investment hubs. The new branches will allow more people to discover Carryboy auto accessories and the Caravan Mobile Home and Motor Home, according to Ylagan. “We are excited to introduce the Caravan Homes in the country. These versatile units will revolutionize the way Filipinos perceive and experience travel,” he said.
Carryboy Philippines has established a strong customer base as the country’s exclusive distributor of high-quality and genuine Carryboy accessories, and continues to maintain its market leadership despite the global economic slump.
The Philippines is currently Carryboy’s top market in terms of growth. Ylagan said that this growth is sustained by quality improvement initiatives, reliable after-sales service support, and the commitment of retail partners nationwide. “The success of an Asian brand such as Carryboy means that our region can compete with the rest of the world,” he said.
Ylagan noted that the local auto industry is faring well and business is brisk. The Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines, Inc. (CAMPI) has reported a 6.4% increase in vehicle sales for 2009, or a total of 132,444 units sold. The group forecasts a 4% growth this year.
“While car sales abroad are experiencing a downturn, we’ve observed that domestic sales are quite stable and are even growing,” Ylagan said. “This positive trend will benefit related industries, including the auto accessories and parts sector.”
