(Manila, Philippines, June 7, 2013) — Enablers have played a key role in the Philippines’ enhanced global competitiveness and investment grade ratings, according to DTSI Group. Outperforming China, the Philippines is now the fastest-growing economy in Asia for the first quarter of 2013 with a 7.8-percent growth in gross domestic product (GDP), the National Statistical Coordination Board (NSCB) announced.

An overwhelming majority also consider the Philippines a less risky destination for investments and outsourcing compared with China and India, despite the continued appreciation of the Philippine Peso.”
