Energy management to boost training programs

Energy management and automation firm Schneider Electric partnered with MFI Polytechnic Institute on Friday to improve its training experiences for vocational technical education programs.

“MFI Polytechnic Institute envisions its students to be highly efficient and skilled practitioners after they complete our training programs. We will benefit greatly from the expertise of Schneider Electric Philippines to make our training programs more impactful and innovative through their commitment and advocacy for greener practices and sustainability,” Dr. Jose Sandejas, president and chairman of MFI Polytechnic, said during a media interview in Pasig City.

Rey del Mundo, field sales specifiers manager of Schneider Electric Philippines, said that the partnership with MFI Polytechnic Institute is part of the company’s aim to build and develop sustainable communities by providing the youth with latest energy management knowledge.

“By giving them the necessary tools, they are more equipped not only in better understanding the energy industry, but in helping Schneider Electricpush its message forward of transforming cities, reshaping industries and enriching lives through sustainable energy management and automation,” del Mundo highighted.

Del Mundo added Schneider Electric wanted to take part in MFI Polytechnic’s initiative to equip its students with comprehensive training experiences and eventually employ them locally or internationally.

Through this partnership, Schneider Electric said students who are taking up these training programs have an opportunity to become more knowledgeable of growth potentials and technically competitive as they explore working in the different fields of the energy industry.

Apart from additional training modules, students will also learn about Schneider Electric’s products, solutions and best practices.

Richelle Dela Cruz, offer marketing manager of Schneider Philippines, said programs such as product overview training programs and motor control center training sessions will give students first-hand experience of Schneider Electric’s innovations.
