PhilDev hosts innovation and entrepreneurship forum

The Philippine Development Foundation is hosting the PhilDev Forum: Innovation and Entrepreneurship for a Globally Competitive Philippines on June 14, 2011 at the InterContinental Manila. The forum focuses on concrete ways to achieve social and economic growth, specifically through entrepreneurship and innovation. The speakers will present the foundations and elements of entrepreneurship as well as the capacity of the Philippines to build and strengthen its entrepreneurial potential.

Speakers from industry include PhilDev board chairman Diosdado Banatao and trustee Winston Damarillo, Shell Philippines chairman Edgar Chua, and IMI president Arthur Tan. Government will be represented by Education Sec. Armin Luistro, Science and Technology Sec. Mario Montejo, and Energy Sec. Rene Almendras. Joining the roster of distinguished speakers are Walt Mayo, senior vice president of International Endeavor Global, and Taddy Hall, co-founder of Innovation Without Borders.
