Zomato Philippines offers digital solutions to the restaurant industry with help from Globe myBusiness

Zomato Philippines taps Globe myBusiness to provide more convenient business solutions to restaurateurs. The announcement was made last May 19 during the press conference at the first-ever Zomato Restaurant Summit held at the Makati Shangri-la Hotel.

According to Zomato Philippines country manager Anton Ojeda, Globe myBusiness is in line with their goal to make things easier for foodies and restaurateurs alike. “We aim to help restaurant owners have a smooth relationship with their clients, and to meet the industry’s challenges head on,” Ojeda shared. “With Globe myBusiness business solutions, this goal can be a reality in no time. And since we’re at the digital age, this partnership is very, very timely and promising.”

“We have always been committed to inspire the success of our clients and the Filipino as a whole,” said Debbie Obias, Globe myBusiness vice president for solutions and portfolio management. “Being part of the first Zomato Restaurant Summit is a big opportunity for us to help entrepreneurs with their businesses with our top of line solutions, and at the same time, achieve our goal. Having this experience motivates us even more to do better solutions that will facilitate a smooth transition to the digital age.”

The collaboration aims to help start-up restaurants and other food-related businesses to explore and transition to digital solutions that will definitely help improve their businesses. Through the partnership, Zomato and Globe myBusiness offer industry players digital marketing tools such as website development and inventory and assessment management systems apart from the usual mobile and broadband connections. In creating personalized business websites, Globe myBusiness offers web pages with complete content and catalogue that will be easily accessed by customers.

The partnership, Ojeda shared, is like hitting two birds with one stone. “While both organizations benefit with this project, industry players are served with the best digital solutions that they can maximize in order to create and maintain their visibility on the map.” Ojeda added, “Globe myBusiness has the widespread reach, while we have the market expertise. Globe needs to establish itself with SMEs (small- and medium-enterprises), while we need to increase traffic especially since we are expanding.”

Zomato Philippines recently organized the first-ever restaurant summit in the country, the Zomato Restaurant Summit. With the theme “Conquering the Digital Age,” the summit brought together over 600 local restaurateurs, industry experts, and foodies who discussed trends and issues, shared insights, knowledge, and revealed the best practices that will bring the industry to a whole new level.
